SUMMARY:

The Construction Services Intern will support project teams in both field and office environments, assisting with construction administration, site observations, documentation, and coordination efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with construction administration tasks including submittals, RFIs, and meeting documentation
Participate in site visits to observe progress and document field conditions
Support coordination between contractors, design teams, and clients
Review drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
Assist with preconstruction efforts such as takeoffs and cost support
Monitor project progress related to schedule, quality, and safety
Utilize tools such as Procore and Bluebeam
Maintain organized project documentation and logs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Provide general project support as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Entering junior or senior year
Basic understanding of construction processes preferred

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Team-oriented with willingness to learn
Interest in construction and project delivery

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to visit active construction sites
Capable of standing, walking, and navigating uneven terrain
Vision abilities include close vision and depth perception
