Position Overview

Align is a specialized general contractor (GC) who manages the entire fit-out of data center white space projects across the country. We seek a Construction Administrator who will support the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects. You will not perform physical construction work or be on construction sites - instead, you will ensure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, remains compliant, and is properly documented. This role serves as a key coordination point between Project Managers, Operations, Accounting, Legal, and subcontractors to help ensure projects remain organized, compliant, and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

You will assist with project setup, documentation tracking, subcontractor coordination, and compliance-related processes while maintaining clear communication across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced data center project environment.

This hybrid position requires 3 days per week in our Midtown Manhattan office and 2 days working from home.
This is a full-time position offering full benefits, a base salary in the $60,000-$80,000+ range (commensurate with experience), paid training and performance-based bonuses.

Project Documentation Contract Administration

Maintain and organize all project documents, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly stored.
Assist in administering construction contracts and subcontracts.

Coordinate project documentation, compliance requirements, and administrative tasks across teams.
Work closely with legal to facilitate contract changes, amendments, and regulatory requirements and ensure proper approvals are in place.
Proactively track deliverables and help identify missing documentation or compliance gaps that could impact timelines.
Act as a liaison between Project Managers, Operations, Accounting, Legal, and subcontractors.
Drive communication across internal and external teams to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on how compliance, approvals, or contracts may impact project timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in construction administration, project administration, or similar roles within construction, infrastructure, or engineering environments.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to track deadlines, coordinate across multiple teams, and manage complex project documentation.
Familiarity with construction processes and terminology.
High attention to detail and ability to track multiple moving pieces across active projects.
